Birth and Early Life: Abune Gorgorios was born on May 20, 1920, in Simada, Gayint district, Begemder. He learned Psalms and chants from an early age.

Religious Journey: He served in Debre Tsige Mariam and Debre Abay Monasteries, later teaching and becoming a chant master. He also served in Jerusalem and London.

Our Church Founding: While in exile in London in 1994, His Grace Abune Gorgorios helped found Debre Semayat Medhanealem and Amlak Wesebe Gabriel Church. The ministry has since moved to a new church building and continues to serve faithfully.
